Spring is in the air! I can feel it and I’m sure you can, too. I’m always a little more motivated during this time of year to get out and enjoy the sunshine and riding around with the top down.
Recently I attended a National board meeting in the Baltimore area and visited the National PCA office and met all of the staff there. It was very interesting to see the history of our Club and the importance of the Regions and our events. We continue to have healthy growth year after year and also continue to be a financially sound organization. I enjoyed it tremendously and learned much about our Club.
Last month I touched on the Club Coupe and it being the 60th Anniversary of Porsche Club of America. What I didn’t elaborate on was that Porsche Club of America is celebrating 60 years of fun, fabulous cars and amazing people. The 60th Annual Porsche Parade will be celebrating this in grand style in French Lick Indiana from June 21-27, 2015. A series of special events are in the works at French Lick that will pay tribute to the cars and people who have made us the greatest single marque sports car club in the world. The 60th Parade will rightfully pay homage to the members and events of our past, but will also celebrate the Club’s newest enthusiasts who will shape our future. Registration is open so don’t miss it this year!
