This past weekend the Suncoast Porsche Club “invaded” Crystal River, Florida. It’s an area about an hour due north of here. But, the route we drove was anything but direct – actually about 100 miles. Thanks to Bob & Missy Teasley, Don and Marie Bienkowski and Fred & Pat Deutschman, the drive was almost as much fun as driving in the Appalachians. From roller-coaster straight roads, to hills that would give a “Cracker” nose-bleeds, to Florida’s version of “Tail of the Dragon,” we drove them all on Saturday morning.
