How to Register for Events

Beginning in January 2018, the majority, if not all, of our club events will require advance registration. Suncoast PCA, as well as many other PCA regions across the country, use ClubRegistration (ClubReg) to manage the event registration process. To find out more about how ClubReg works and how to sign up, please view this PDF.

How often do you meet?

😃I would love to but I don't like taking my Porsche out on a cloudy or windy day plus I'm selling my 2000 Boxster S and looking to buy a Cayman S, is their anyone that lives in Pinellas County or Tampa selling a 2009 Cayman S at a reasonable price? 🄹

Welcome to the Suncoast PCA Region Website

Welcome to Florida’s Suncoast Region Porsche Club, located in Zone 12 of the Porsche Club of America.

Founded in 1961, we have come a long way from an early gathering of a few dedicated Porsche enthusiasts to now becoming one of the largest regions in PCA, encompassing the counties of Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota.

Call for 2024 Board of Director and Committee Member Nominations

We are seeking volunteers who are willing to serve on the Suncoast PCA Board of Directors and associated Committees. At the time of this notice, we have not yet confirmed the exact positions that may be open in 2024. Rather we are listing, for your review and consideration, all the positions on our Board and committee roles. The elected Officer positions are: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer (elected officers serve a two-year term). The elected Directors positions are: Charitable Activities, Social Activities, Insurance and Safety, Road Driving Activities, and Governance (elected Directors serve a one-year term and are eligible to serve additional terms). The non-elected Director positions, appointed by the President, are: Drivers Education (DE) Director, Competitive Activities Director, Marketing/Communications Director, Membership Development and Services Director, and At-Large Director. The President also appoints the Chief Track Instructor, DE Registrar, DE Tech Chair, and PCA Club Race Chair (initial appointments are for a one-year term, renewal for additional terms). Other volunteer opportunities include supporting committees and key activities such as Tours, Rally, Social, and Drivers Education.

Our region has over 3,000 members located across eight counties (Pinellas, Hillsborough, Sarasota, Manatee, Pasco, Hernando, Hardee, and Polk). The mission of Suncoast PCA is to celebrate and heighten the Porsche owning and driving experience and to serve our greater community. To achieve this mission, we need a collaborative effort of our Region leadership and members, working together to increase member engagement, expand the number and variety of activities offered, and continually improve the quality of events. We need your talents, energy, and passion on our Board and committees!

We welcome self-nominations. If you are interested in nominating yourself or some other Suncoast PCA member you must submit your written nomination, with yours and/or your nominee’s PCA membership number, along with complete email, phone, and address contact information for yourself and the nominee, to our Governance Director, John Vento at jvento@trenam.com and to Suncoast PCA Secretary, Mike Hofmeister, secretary@suncoastpca.org by October 7th (we have extended our nomination deadline by five weeks). John Vento, as Governance Director, serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee and will review all nominations and share the same with our Nominating Committee and our Club Secretary, Mike Hofmeister. Suncoast PCA members in good standing shall be added to the slate of nominees for the election of officers and directors compiled by the Nominating Committee.

If you are nominating a Suncoast PCA member other than yourself, you must forward at the time of nomination, the nominee’s written and signed consent to be nominated for the position. A nomination without this written consent will not be considered. Members are also encouraged to suggest candidates. Nominations, suggestions, or questions can all be directed to John Vento at his email above or by phone at 813 787-5579 or to Denise at President@suncoastpca.org or 727-215-7452.
