This event is within walking distance of the Festivals of Speed\, a great\, very high-end car show and great boats to view. BERT SMITH PORSCHE\, our sponsor\, will hand out awards\, and hold a raffle. This is held at SPA BEACH PARK on 2nd Avenue North\, which is the Pier approach. We will have cold water and you can bring a picnic lunch or dine in one of the many restaurants nearby. \nThe park opens at 9:00 am \nProceed toward the Pier and turn left into the parking lot\, go to the east end and onto the grass. There will be signs. \n11:00-12:00 Car show judging \nThe judges will be your kids and grandkids\, as well as all participants. The kid’s choices will be recognized and prizes will be given for the official judging. \n12:30 Awards and drawing \nUpon conclusion of the event\, you can leave your car and go to the Festivals of Speed car show. DESCRIPTION:November Autocross #9 at Brooksville Tampa Bay Regional Airport – Porsche/BMW Challenge Event #1 \nThe Florida Suncoast BMW Car Club of America will host this event. \nPlease be at the airport gate no later than 8:30am. \nOn-line registration is required prior to Thursday\, October 30th for all drivers and non-drivers/spectators.  Event information and registration will be available on motorsportreg.com. \nDirections: \nDo not enter through the public airport entrance! \nFrom the north take the Suncoast Parkway (FL-589) and exit east on Spring Hill Dr.  Travel ~2.5 miles then take a right (south) on US-41.  Drive ~1.5miles – the gated entrance will be on the right\, just before the railroad tracks – Runway Dr. \nFrom the south\, take Suncoast Pkwy to County Line Rd and head east to US41\, then north on US41 until you cross RR tracks\, then take an immediate left on Runway Drive.
