Meyers\, FL)  \nPlease join us for a tour of the “Edison and Ford Winter Estates” followed by a lunch at “Pinchers at the Marina at Edison Ford”. \nDid you know that Thomas Edison and Henry Ford spent many winters in Fort Myers? Did you know that Edison\, Ford and Harvey Firestone created the Edison Botanical Research Corporation to try to find a domestic source of natural rubber? Did you know the estate site is a Florida Historic Landmark and the lab is a National Historical Chemical Landmark? \nA site historian will give us a 60 minute guided tour of the homes and gardens of the Edison and Ford families. Following the tour you are free to browse on your own through the Edison Ford Museum\, the Edison Botanic Research Laboratory\, the Museum Store and the Garden Shoppe. Lunch will be at Pinchers\, which is accessible via a garden path directly from the grounds of the estates. Pinchers is right on the water and their seafood comes highly recommended for you to purchase! Your tour entry ticket is good for the full day so those wishing to do some more browsing of the estates may do so after lunch. There will be a designated group parking area where we are free to leave our cars parked until we depart for the day. \nThe guided tour will start promptly at 10 a.m. Please plan to arrive at the parking area between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. so that we can get everyone checked in. Most of the tour is outside – please dress accordingly as it may be a warm day. Note that smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the estates site. Only Service Animals are allowed – all other pets and animals are not permitted. DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow Suncoast PCA members on March 30 at International Plaza by Tampa International Airport for a fun drive north through the back roads of Pasco\, Hernando and Citrus Counties to Crystal River’s Peck’s Old Port Cove Restaurant for lunch around noon. \nWe will meet at International Plaza mall no later than 9:30 am to depart at 10:00 am in the parking lot on the south side of Nordstroms. Enter the mall from Spruce Street at N Westshore Boulevard and this entrance road dead-ends into the parking area on the south side of Nordstroms. \nThis fun drive’s last 9 miles of the route has 67 turns and the total distance is a little over 100 miles! DESCRIPTION:Anyone who has ever participated in one of our region’s Autocross events will know how instrumental Mark has been to the success of that program. All proceeds for this event will go towards helping Mark with his ongoing expenses.  \nSee attached lists. Many interesting cars and tools will be available. Cheap Bricklin\, Shelby Dodges\, Mustangs\, Triumphs\, Merkurs and more. There are also many car parts\, especially Ford\, Merkur and Triumph TR7. \nWhen is the last time you saw a Studebaker Lark\, or even a Dodge Omni? Come see garaged “barn finds” including Delorean\, TR8\, 1967 Fairlane and Avanti!  Tell your car friends!  Even better\, bring a friend! \nMost of the cars have not run in a long time and will need some work to get running again. Some will need a lot of work. Please plan to see them on sale day. We have a car trailer\, so we might be able to negotiate delivery. \nThe 1998 Porsche Boxster is a special case. It is a good looking car\, ready to go\, running great and available now. The price has been dropped to just $5900.  Where else is someone going to drive away in a Porsche for that kind of money?
