DESCRIPTION:Attention all Suncoast Region members\, especially those that own a cherished 996 Model!  This show is for you!  This event is a “Show within a show” with the 996 Gathering being one of the first in the USA! \nThe 996 loyalists will arrive on Friday at Sebring\, but most will arrive Saturday where other car makes will be invited!  Car trailers are welcome and special colors are especially welcome!!! \nEvent requirements \nFirst annual “996 Gathering” will be a show inside the Wheels of Color Automotive Gathering show in Sebring this November 28-29th. \nGroup dinner and get together Friday night November 28th. \nPossible group tour of Sebring Raceway Friday November 28th. \nWheels of Color Automotive Gathering show; \n\nDate of show\, rain or shine\, Saturday\, November 29\, 2025 at The Sebring Motor Garages and Townhomes on US 98.\nShow hours\, car entry and setup 8AM to 10AM – show ends at 4PM EST. All displayed cars must stay in place until 4PM close of show. SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Along The Beach Rally
DESCRIPTION:This will be our last rally for the calendar year. We’ve had a Gimmick Rally and 2 TSD Rallies\, so this one will be another Gimmick Rally. As the title implies\, we will be headed to the Gulf shoreline\, but the starting point is inland\, so participants will see much of the scenery typical of Florida.  \nThe Rally starts at Tampa Bay Downs in the outer parking lot at 11237 Race Track Road in Oldsmar. Red-vested marshals will be there starting at 09:00 AM to make sure every passenger in every car has signed the liability waiver.  You can do that online when you sign up here\, but if you have an extra observer in your car along with your navigator\, we will have waivers available to sign at the Start. The Start/Finish Marshal will get ever car lined up\, then around 09:30 AM\, we’ll hold a Driver/Navigator (DRIV/NAV) Meeting.  At the DRIV/NAV we will pass out Rally Route Instructions sheets and a sheet of abbreviations used during rallies. You will also receive a Panic Envelope that contains all the answers to the gimmick questions and the location of the terminus\, so if you’re hopelessly lost\, you can open the envelope and GPS to the finish. An unopened Panic Envelope must be shown to the Start/Finish Marshal to be elegible for a trophy.  \nTrophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers and we’re working on collecting some door prizes for finishers. Choice of door prize will proceed in rank order until all prizes are awarded. Scores will be based on the number of correct answers to gimmick questions. Ties will be broken by mileage closest to the official mileage. If a tie still persists\, the Rallymaster will determine the means for designating the winner.  \nN.B.–each car entered must have a team consisting of a driver and a navigator. Only the driver will pay the entry fee ($30). Navigators and Passengers register for free. When Navigators register\, they will be asked to name their Driver as their Instructor. This helps us pair the people who are a team in the same car.  \nRegister here: https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/16325

With only 3 run groups for the day there will be a lot of track time for everyone. There will be no instructors on this day and therefore no possibility for check rides to solo status on this day. Instructors wishing to drive must register as solo for Friday. Drivers who drove Blue/White in the September event are not yet eligible to register for this day. \nBoth Saturday and Sunday will have run groups for all drivers – students (novice and advanced)\, solos\, advanced solos. As always\, our student group will have a limited number of students per day so please register early to guarantee a spot! First timer’s and non-PCA members are welcome. All drivers must be at least 18 years of age. \nJoin us Friday evening for our “Show Us Your Best Black/Orange” themed social with dinner and beverages under the AutoQuest tent. If you are a non-PCA member and driving “Other-XS”\, you may register but DO NOT make payment in advance as you will be charged the credit card fee if we have to cancel your registration/payment. We will put you on the Waitlist and will email you about 10-12 days in advance if we are able to move you from the Waitlist to “Pending” status to make the $60 payment. You will then receive an email being confirmed to the Roster. \nRegistration opens 9/14/25 and closes on 10/8/25.
