Enter the mall from Spruce Street at N Westshore Boulevard and this entrance road dead-ends into the parking area on the south side of Nordstroms. \nThis fun drive’s last 9 miles of the route has 67 turns and the total distance is a little over 100 miles! There are also many car parts\, especially Ford\, Merkur and Triumph TR7. \nWhen is the last time you saw a Studebaker Lark\, or even a Dodge Omni? Come see garaged “barn finds” including Delorean\, TR8\, 1967 Fairlane and Avanti!  Tell your car friends!  Even better\, bring a friend! \nMost of the cars have not run in a long time and will need some work to get running again. Some will need a lot of work. Please plan to see them on sale day. We have a car trailer\, so we might be able to negotiate delivery. \nThe 1998 Porsche Boxster is a special case. DESCRIPTION:In the Porsche world of street driven rear engine production cars there are three basic groups of progression. Many of the owners concur that although technology generally gets better in each generation\, much is lost in the past. Some feel the 356 was the beginning and is the true classic Porsche\, others feel the introduction of the 911 though 1998\, the air cooled models\, ended the true 911 Series. Many find that the liquid cooled 1999 on up versions are the most drivable and offer a new comfort and performance level. \nEach year the Porsche 356 Florida Owners Group (FOG) has a “Gathering of the Faithful” event. \nTwo years ago\, 35 Porsches got together and attended the FOG event. Those who went were left with two vivid impressions. The great road tour and beautiful 356`s we viewed. \nLast year we did Tour 02 to Howie-in-the-Hills to view the 356 Florida Owners Group Concours Event “The Gathering of the Faithful” It was a display the of 356 models that are among the best in the country. Rarely do you see this many 356 cars together. \nThis year I have planned a tour to their Concours event in Historic Downtown Lakeland on Saturday February 23. The setting will be at the Amphitheater on Lake Mirror. \nDetails: We will meet at Fords Garage Restaurant in Wesley Chapel at 8:00 am\, with a departure at 8:30. This is across from the Outlet Mall at I-75 and SR 56. We will take a leisurely and scenic (trailer parks to strawberry fields) tour to Lakeland. DESCRIPTION:One of our members is a docent at Ringling Art and Circus Museum and has graciously offered to head up a tour! This museum charts American circus history with props\, costumes and a restored Wisconsin train carriage. We are also planning to meet for lunch at Marina Jack. DESCRIPTION:The holidays are rapidly approaching and you do not want to miss the chance to join your other Suncoast PCA members at our annual Holiday Celebration on Friday\, December 14thfrom 6 to 10 pm at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Please register before December 10 in ClubRegistration.net (Direct Link: Holiday Celebration). \nWe have a very special evening planned. This year we’re returning to the early years of Suncoast PCA with a celebration of the 60’s! Join us for delicious food\, great music and gambling fun! From 6 to 7 pm there will be hosted bar with cocktails\, wine\, beer and soda and hors d’oeuvres. The buffet stations will open at 7 pm for dinner and include tempting selections of salads and entrees\, a carving station and assorted holiday desserts. Cash bar from 7 to 10 pm. Throughout the evening we’ll have music reminiscent of the Rat Pack and a dance floor where you can show off your moves! The casino will be open from 6 to 10 pm offering you a chance to play Black Jack\, Roulette\, Craps\, Texas Hold ‘Em\, and other card games. You’ll start off with $1\,000 worth of chips (more available with a $10 donation to our charity\, Ready for Life). \nJoin us for this fantastic celebration! Feel free to come straight from work. DESCRIPTION:Note time change!!! \nDecember Autocross – Brooksville Airport \nPre-registration by November 28th is required for all drivers. Please email Tlewis03@tampabay.rr.com with names of spectators by November 28th and ensure spectators are confirmed by email. \nPlease arrive at the airport gate between 10am and 10:30am (time change).  We will be running an adjusted schedule to allow the poor weather to pass. \nSnell 2010 helmet or newer required\, loaners available. Lunch will be provided. Non-Porsche vehicles are welcome. \nCost is $30 for PCA and BMWCCA members\, $40 for non-members. Non-member registrations will be limited to 20\, and the event will be capped to 72 total entrants and guests. \nDirections: \nDo not enter through the public airport entrance! \nFrom the north take the Suncoast Parkway (FL-589) and exit east on Spring Hill Dr. Travel ~2.5 miles then take a right (south) on US-41. Drive ~1.5miles – the gated entrance will be on the right\, just before the railroad tracks – Runway Dr. \nFrom the south\, take Suncoast Pkwy to County Line Rd and head east to US41\, then north on US41 until you cross RR tracks\, then take an immediate left on Runway Drive.
