DESCRIPTION:Our 2024 Dinner on the Beach at Sharky’s on the Pier in Venice (1600 Harbor Dr S\, Venice\, FL 34285) is scheduled for May 15\, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. As in past years\, we have again reserved their tent located at the south end of the restaurant directly on the beach. Parking is also plentiful; park at the far south end of the lot. \nIf this is your first time at Sharky’s\, just follow signs to the hostess desk and tell them that you are with Suncoast PCA and you’re looking for the tent. Alternatively\, take the little boardwalk from the south parking area directly to the beach and look to your right for all your Porsche Peeps. At the end of the little boardwalk\, make a right 180 degree turn and enter the tent. \nUniform of the day is Florida/beach casual\, but if you prefer regular casual\, that’s OK too. See you on the Beach.

DESCRIPTION:Tour to Sebring\nTake a Lap on the Track \nSaturday\, March 23\, we’ll leave from Lakewood Ranch driving back roads to Sebring race track. We’ll meet at 9AM at 6805 Del Webb Blvd.\, Lakewood Ranch in the sales center parking lot. \nTake exit #217 off Interstate 75. Immediately set your odometer to ‘0’. Turn East onto State Road 70 (heading inland towards Arcadia.) \nNeed a bio-stop\, coffee or a snack before you begin the 2 hour drive to Sebring? At 4.3 miles\, stop at WAWA at SR70 and Lorraine Road. Turn Right onto Lorraine Road\, take first Left to make a U-turn into WAWA. You’ll exit Right onto SR 70 to reach our start point. \nAT 6.3 miles\, turn Right onto Del Webb Blvd. This is the main entrance to Del Webb Lakewood Ranch marked with white banners and a large monument sign. \nMake an immediate Left. Enter the parking lot. (Do NOT proceed to the guard gate.) \nPlease arrive promptly at 9AM so we can divide into groups\, get driving instructions and be on the road by 9:15AM. It’s important we keep on schedule. This is a DE weekend at the track. To accommodate their schedule\, we’ve been asked at arrive at 11AM. Those wanting the opportunity to drive the track will assemble on the grid. A DE instructor will lead our parade lap and be available afterwards to answer questions about the DE program. Menu price is anticipated to be $55++ per person. The exact menu offerings will be shared when finalized. You pay at the restaurant but must register in advance. \nCarrabba’s is located next to the Sunken Gardens. The parking lot is Porsche friendly.
