DESCRIPTION:**Read Entire Description** – Events have been reaching max capacity\, so we will have to prioritize registrations by: Current PCA membership validated in your Clubreg profile; Porsche cars; BMWCCA Club Members (driving BMW) and Guests only are invited to register on 5/1/26.  \nDO NOT MAKE PAYMENT in advance if you are not a PCA/BMWCC member as you will be charged the credit card fee to cancel your payment. We will email you if we are able to move you from the Waitlist to “Pending” status to make payment.  \nEvent will be capped at approximately 40 drivers and up to 10 registered guests. Registration will close on May 23rd and cancellations must be submitted prior to that date for refund (less credit card processing fee). NO on-site registrations will be allowed. \nPre-payment (current/active PCA MEMBERSHIP # MUST be listed in your Clubreg Profile to qualify for the Member rate of $50)\, and the PCA Event Liability Waiver is required to be e-signed before you will be confirmed on the Roster. Your registration will remain as “Pending” until completed and you have received a confirmation email and see your name on the Roster. You can review and verify your car class and categories on the Suncoast PCA activities/autocross page at: https://suncoastpca.org/autocross/ \nALL non-driver GUEST attendees must register and e-sign the liability waiver as a “Crew/Guest” on Clubregistration.net. No on-site registrations as this is a private event. Please assist your guest in setting up an account with Clubregistration.net. $5 is requested if your guest will join us for lunch. \nPCA requires eSignatures for all events. Electronically sign the Event Liability Waiver prior to the event.  \n**New for 2026** SNELL SA2015 helmet or newer required! SUMMARY:Gimmick Rally - Polk County
DESCRIPTION:This Gimmick Rally is our first rally of this year.  We have located the rally in Polk County to make it easier for our membership there\, and in neighboring areas\, to participate.  Per PCA General Rules\, all cars registered for a rally must have a driver AND a navigator.  The driver must be a PCA member. More than one person may accompanying the driver–the more eyes the better for a Gimmick Rally.  We will have waivers available to sign at the starting point.  All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will sign for them.\nWe will gather beginning at 08:30 a.m. at the Florida Air Museum\, 4075 James C. Ray Drive\, Lakeland FL 33811. Please check in with the Hospitality Marshal to get the appropriate waivers signed. We will have coffee and pastries at the start. There will be a driver/navigator meeting at 09:00 to pass out and review the Rally Route Instructions\, the abbreviations used\, and some of the general rallying rules. After that the Start/Finish Marshal will get everyone queued up to launch at the appropriate interval.  At the terminus you will turn in your Rally Route Instruction sheets on which you will have written the answers to questions based on signs and landmarks along the route.  Ties will be determined by the corrected total miles driven.  If ties remain after accounting for miles driven\, a 10 question trivia quiz will\, it is to be hoped\, resolve the tie.  The Safety/Scoring Marshal will inform the Rally Master of the winners. The quiz could also help determine who gets door prizes. The terminus of the rally will be at a restaurant where we’ll enjoy lunch on your own followed by the awards ceremony.  There will be trophies for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place finishers and some door prizes. Those of us on the Rally Committee look forward to seeing you at this fun event. \nRegister
