SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Along The Beach Rally
DESCRIPTION:This will be our last rally for the calendar year. We’ve had a Gimmick Rally and 2 TSD Rallies\, so this one will be another Gimmick Rally. As the title implies\, we will be headed to the Gulf shoreline\, but the starting point is inland\, so participants will see much of the scenery typical of Florida.  \nThe Rally starts at Tampa Bay Downs in the outer parking lot at 11237 Race Track Road in Oldsmar. Red-vested marshals will be there starting at 09:00 AM to make sure every passenger in every car has signed the liability waiver.  You can do that online when you sign up here\, but if you have an extra observer in your car along with your navigator\, we will have waivers available to sign at the Start. The Start/Finish Marshal will get ever car lined up\, then around 09:30 AM\, we’ll hold a Driver/Navigator (DRIV/NAV) Meeting.  At the DRIV/NAV we will pass out Rally Route Instructions sheets and a sheet of abbreviations used during rallies. You will also receive a Panic Envelope that contains all the answers to the gimmick questions and the location of the terminus\, so if you’re hopelessly lost\, you can open the envelope and GPS to the finish. An unopened Panic Envelope must be shown to the Start/Finish Marshal to be elegible for a trophy.  \nTrophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers and we’re working on collecting some door prizes for finishers. Choice of door prize will proceed in rank order until all prizes are awarded. Scores will be based on the number of correct answers to gimmick questions. Ties will be broken by mileage closest to the official mileage. If a tie still persists\, the Rallymaster will determine the means for designating the winner.  \nN.B.–each car entered must have a team consisting of a driver and a navigator. Only the driver will pay the entry fee ($30). Navigators and Passengers register for free. When Navigators register\, they will be asked to name their Driver as their Instructor. This helps us pair the people who are a team in the same car.  \nRegister here: https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/16325

SUMMARY:Northern Suncoast Gimmick Rally
DESCRIPTION:This rally will start at the Glory Days Grill\, 14457 N Dale Mabry Hwy\, Tampa (parking lot behind). The Drivers/Navigators briefing will begin at 0830\, so please arrive between 0800 and 0830. After the briefing\, we will line up and launch participants at intervals beginning at 0900. The terminus\, route street names\, and answers to questions will be provided in a Panic Envelope which must be presented UNOPENED at the end of the rally to be eligible for a trophy or other prize. You should open the Panic Envelope only if you’re hopelessly lost\, give up\, or it is 1200 hours and you’re not at the finish line. Lunch will be available (at your own expense–not included in the entrance fee) at the finish and we’ll have an awards ceremony during lunch after scoring is complete. Turn East onto State Road 70 (heading inland towards Arcadia.) \nNeed a bio-stop\, coffee or a snack before you begin the 2 hour drive to Sebring? At 4.3 miles\, stop at WAWA at SR70 and Lorraine Road. Turn Right onto Lorraine Road\, take first Left to make a U-turn into WAWA. You’ll exit Right onto SR 70 to reach our start point. \nAT 6.3 miles\, turn Right onto Del Webb Blvd. This is the main entrance to Del Webb Lakewood Ranch marked with white banners and a large monument sign. \nMake an immediate Left. Enter the parking lot. (Do NOT proceed to the guard gate.) \nPlease arrive promptly at 9AM so we can divide into groups\, get driving instructions and be on the road by 9:15AM. It’s important we keep on schedule. This is a DE weekend at the track. To accommodate their schedule\, we’ve been asked at arrive at 11AM. Those wanting the opportunity to drive the track will assemble on the grid. A DE instructor will lead our parade lap and be available afterwards to answer questions about the DE program. It may help to sharpen your rally skills! The Chinsegut Hills historical site has witnessed thousands of years of Florida history. Our road tour will end here and we will be able to explore the diverse stories of Florida`s past at this unique location.

SUMMARY:Tour to Linger Lodge
DESCRIPTION:Join your Tourmeisters and other PCAers on a driving tour to Linger Lodge on the Lazy Braden River.  Confirmed registrants and their guests should plan to gather between 11:15 am to 11:30 am on March 14 in Wimauma for a low pressure driving event of just over seventy miles on mostly little known paved public roads in southern Hillsborough and northern Manatee Counties.  We will make lunch reservations for all registered tour participants at the Linger Lodge.  While we will be touring in loose groups\, all registrants will receive written route instructions\, including the Linger Lodge address and the Tourmeister’s cell numbers. \nIn all Suncoast PCA tour events\, the laws of the road apply\, and participants must safely share the roads with non-tour vehicles and traffic.  For this event only\, our Gathering Place and start will be in back of the Church of God Convention Center\, 5504 FL (Route) 674\, Wimauma\, FL 33598\, on Nichols Ave\, just past the intersection of 10th Ave and Nichols Ave. \nThere is registration fee of $10/car with no refunds for this tour (and all 2020 tours)\, as the proceeds go directly into Suncoast Region’s charity fund.  A short explanation is due here; your Tourmeister is also the board member for Suncoast’s charitable endeavors.  A paid ClubReg registration and confirmation is not transferable to a non-registrant’s car.  We will establish a wait list for this tour\, if necessary.  \nAll Porsche vehicles are welcome\, including Boxster\, Cayman\, Cayenne\, and Macan\, all versions of the 356\, 911\, 914\, 928\, 944\, 968\, and any stray Taycans.  Yes\, if you have a 2005 Carrera GT and register that car\, we will squeeze you in the group.  Every tourmeister has biases.
