The fun will begin on Friday evening with a “Tailgating” social during our registration and tech hour. Be sure to select the “social” option at time of registration if you wish to attend. Open to all registered drivers and a guest. \nBoth Saturday and Sunday our schedule will be the 4-run group format with run groups for students\, solos and 2 groups for advanced solo drivers – giving each run group 4 sessions of 30 minutes track time per day. \nAll our students will be paired with a PCA instructor for in-car instruction. Instructors wishing to drive must register as solo for Friday. Drivers who drove Blue/White in the September event are not yet eligible to register for this day. \nBoth Saturday and Sunday will have run groups for all drivers – students (novice and advanced)\, solos\, advanced solos. As always\, our student group will have a limited number of students per day so please register early to guarantee a spot! First timer’s and non-PCA members are welcome. All our women drivers will receive a free photo shoot with their car at Victory Circle. Let your Mom experience the track by taking her in your track car for some fun laps during our lunch time parade laps! \nA variety of HPDE Event T-shirts will be available for sale at the track from Saturday a.m. through to Sun noon at Pit 30. Be sure to stop by and take a look! \nSome items to note: \nDE REGISTRATION and CONFIRMATION: \n1. All registrants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license. \n2. All drivers require a helmet rated SA2015 or SA2020. Moped helmets and motorcycle helmets are not allowed\, and there are no loaner helmets available. NOTE: SA2015 helmets can be used until Feb 28\, 2026 per PCA National. \n3. We run rain or shine so please prepare accordingly! \n4. Car numbers and pit stalls are allocated on a “first registered and paid\, first allocation” basis. \n5. After the 3-day period has expired your registration will be automatically cancelled. \n7. DESCRIPTION:Want to feel your Porsche on track straightaways and through the curves?  Here’s your chance!! The Florida Thoroughbred Region has rented The Firm track for the day. \nThis event is initially open only to members of PCA and limited to the first 45 cars who register.  We will run rain or shine! \nCost is just $195 each driver.  Bring a non-driver guest for an additional $25. \nLunch and soft drinks are included in the cost. \nThree “run groups” will allow novice\, intermediate\, and “seasoned drivers” to be on track with those of similar ability. Please signify your run group – novice\, intermediate\, or seasoned as you register with Club Registration.  \nTHIS WILL BE A “DE” EVENT\, NOT A TIMED EVENT. \nDE instructors will be available for “in-car” instruction for those who have not driven on any track before or maybe only once or twice.  Also\, this may be the first time back on a track in a long time.  Rate yourself “down in experience” to rebuild a confidence level with an in-car instructor. \nOTHER DETAILS \n1. Check in/registration begins at 7:30am at The FIRM.  Be there on time as there is lots to do before we begin the session.  In addition to confirming the signing of release waivers (you must sign the e-waiver on Club Registration)\, there will be a mandatory “tech inspection” by “The Firm”\, and a mandatory driver meeting to be sure drivers are all aware of procedures\, signals\, flags\, etc. \n 2. Each car owner must present at the track a completed Tech  Inspection Form signed by the driver and an authorized shop.  You will receive a copy of the Tech Inspection Form along with your confirmation of payment.  \nPorsche of Ocala will provide the mandatory tech inspections at no cost to PCA members before the event. Contact Aaron Pederson at 352-436-1283 to set an appointment.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to be sure your car is ready for the track. (Tech at track is only to be sure of no loose items inside car\, belts on\, etc). If you live too far from Ocala to take advantage of the Porsche of Ocala offer your local mechanic must use the PCA Tech Inspection form provided.  You must present the completed form at the track on April 1st. \n3. Helmets – Snell rating of “2015” or newer are required.  The FIRM has 20 helmets available that rent for $25 for those who do not have their own.  (contact The Firm at 1-352-473-2999 to reserve/rent a helmet prior to the event.  Identify that you are with the Porsche Club April 1st event). \n4. Attire for drivers – Long pants and closed toe shoes are required. \n5. Passengers are only allowed with the designated instructors during hot laps.  However\, passengers are allowed during the “Parade Laps” at noon and helmets are not required. \n6.
